Rainhouse hosts an annual engineering showcase where local students present their projects and connect with industry professionals. The event raises awareness of careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) and builds valuable connections between students, industry, and the public.



2026 Engineering Design Showcase

Anticipated to be our largest showcase yet, the 2026 event will feature collaborations with UVic engineering teams, Camosun College, FIRST Robotics, capstone projects, and industry partners, offering an unparalleled opportunity to experience innovation in action.

2025 Engineering Showcase


Held at the Gorge Pavilion, the 2025 showcase marked a year of repositioning. For the first time, student engineering teams joined UVic capstone projects and industry professionals, creating a focused event centered on collaboration, mentorship, and real-world engineering insight.
