Rainhouse Projects Thermach


Created by our research and development department in collaboration with SMRT, LUND, MagComp, Xylem, SECO, UNOTT, Tisics, OpTek, E6, ADL, SECO UK, NRC, TU Wien, myTool IT, BCC.

The Thermach project aims to address the manufacturing industry challenges created from producing components and products of advanced metal matrix composite (MMC) materials. These industry challenges are addressed by implementing hybrid thermally assisted machining processes.

Rainhouse Projects Toolsense


Created by our research and development department in collaboration with The National Research Council (NRC), LUND University, Seco Tools, Accu-Svenska AB, Purmo and Element Six.

The ToolSense project aims to develop smart tools for metal and tool cutting by obtaining information and feedback from thin-film and nano-sized semiconductor device manufacturing nodes located on the tool and platform.

Anti-Vibration Control System

The Anti-Vibration Control System (AVCS) project aims to develop a sensor that will measure vibrations within a machine tool. This sensor will improve the quality and optimize the process to create parts.
