Learn more about Rainhouse Manufacturing Canada Ltd.’s current projects and capabilities. Rainhouse projects are internally developed or in collaboration with clients where we establish true partnerships. We’ve accomplished working with an international consortium to develop smart cutting tools.
The Thermach project aims to address the manufacturing industry challenges created from producing components and products of advanced metal matrix composite (MMC) materials. These industry challenges are addressed by implementing hybrid thermally assisted machining processes.
The ToolSense project aims to develop smart tools for metal and tool cutting by obtaining information and feedback from thin-film and nano-sized semiconductor device manufacturing nodes located on the tool and platform.
The Anti-Vibration Control System (AVCS) project aims to develop a sensor that will measure vibrations within a machine tool. This sensor will improve the quality and optimize the process to create parts.
