Rainhouse holds an annual engineering showcase which creates an opportunity for local students to exhibit their engineering projects as well as increases awareness of opportunities available in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) fields by creating networking opportunities for students, industry, and the general public.
Join us in this interactive experience that allows students in STEAM to exhibit their innovative creations, including robotics, submarines, rockets, satellites, and many others.
Our second annual engineering showcase was a success. We had incredible industry leaders join us, including Emilie De Rosenroll – CEO of South Island Prosperity Project, Jack Litzenberger – CEO of JOL Consultants Inc.; and Mike Whalley – President of Babcock Canada.
Our 2019 event was bigger and better than last year’s. We are proud to see the participation and interest in science and technology from our local students.
After almost two years of restrictions we were able to give engineering students the opportunity to showcase their innovative projects. Four teams were selected by a panel of judges to win cash prizes toward their projects.
