This month’s employee spotlight features Eric Spence, one of the Quality Assurance Technicians at Rainhouse. His role involves the meticulous inspection and testing of our products at every stage of production. With dedication and precision, Eric ensures that each item leaving our facility meets stringent standards, is free from any defects and is in full compliance with specified requirements.
We asked Eric a few questions to get to know him better, and here is what he had to say.
What do you do at Rainhouse?
As a Quality Assurance Technician, my primary responsibility is to ensure that the parts being manufactured adhere to the highest standards of quality and precision. I use a variety of equipment to inspect parts and collaborate with the machinists to maintain quality control.
What do you enjoy most about working at Rainhouse?
I enjoy being part of a skilled team that is dedicated to excellence in manufacturing, working around dogs and learning new things.
What’s your favourite aspect of quality assurance?
My favourite part of quality assurance is helping deliver high-quality parts to customers.
What is something most people do not know about you?
I want to visit every provincial park in BC.
What is the ONE THING you cannot live without?
My bikes and a pair of hiking boots!
