Adding induction hardening to our @fanucamerica robot cell. Quite a lot of work to integrate the PLC for the induction cell into the HMI and robot. @vialatechnologies did the PLC and we programmed and integrated the cell in house.

Now that it is proven we will optimize the mechanical design and liquid containment.

Rainhouse was recently revisited by Kip Hanson from Shop Metalworking Technology magazine.

Last time we spoke to Kip, we had recently purchased an MX-520 vertical machining centre and were excited to share our new 5-Axis milling capabilities.

This time around Rainhouse is excited to share our automation efforts using a Fanuc Robodrill and Fanuc M-10iD/12 payload robot.
