We asked Guillermo a few questions to get to know him better, and here is what he had to say.
What do you do at Rainhouse?
As the Supply Chain Manager, I ensure materials, parts, and third-party services are ordered on time; they comply with the specific requirements, are negotiated at the best cost-benefit and arrive exactly when they are needed. My main goal is to provide internal customers with the best service.
What do you enjoy most about working at Rainhouse?
I like the way people work as a team, but what really impresses me is how the team can transform a piece of material into something relevant to different industries such as Defence, Aerospace, Medical and more. I can tell that “From idea to done” is true.
What’s your favourite aspect of supply chain coordination?
Supply Chain is full of dynamism, and every day is a new challenge. Creating strong relationships with the vendors and having them as part of my team is the best way to face challenges and enable Rainhouse to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers.
What is something most people do not know about you?
I’ve had the opportunity of teaching several times during my student and professional career, finding it entirely motivating and satisfying. This is why sharing what I know is something I would love to do when I retire.
What is the ONE THING you cannot live without?
Sports are always present in my hobbies.
